Character Love: Zoe Hart

The heroine of Hart of Dixie is Zoe Hart, the town doctor. In a nutshell, she inherited a medical practice in the small town of Bluebell from her estranged father. She has feelings for George, who just happens to be Lemon's fiance. If you're worried I'm giving it all away, don't worry this all happens in the first episode. Zoe's hometown is New York City and her style is reflective of this.

Vena Cava blouse, Joie skirt, Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.

Gryphon dress, Lionette necklace, Dries van Noten shoes. One of my favorite looks.

Veda jacket, Elizabeth and James blouse and shorts.

Robert Rodriguez blazer, ALC blouse, Juicy Couture pants, and Gemma Redux earrings.

Maggie Ward top, Elizabeth and James shorts, Helen Ficalora necklace.

To adopt Zoe's look as your own look for graphic and animal prints, modern silhouettes with structured jackets, and her signature color of black.

Character Love: Lemon Breeland

I admit, I am about the absolute worst person to watch TV with. I try to multi task and then have no idea what is going on and then I have to rewind and ask questions. But when it comes to Hart of Dixie, I am on the edge of my seat with no interruptions. I was intrigued with the show because of the cast, got hooked because of the love triangle, and stayed for the fashion. The show will be wrapping up for the season next week, and I propose a tribute to arguably the best dressed characters on primetime TV.

Lemon Breeland's character is developing from a sinister socialite into an independent business owner. She is the town belle and drips in southern charm, with a wardrobe to match. Her closet would be my dream, consisting of vintage finds, Marc Jacobs dresses, Anthropologie pieces,  and Valentino accessories. Of course every ensemble is topped off like a cherry with headbands and hair bow accoutrements. The following are some of her best looks.

Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater, Jill Stuart dress, and Valentino shoes. I would be happy just to borrow any of these pieces. : )

Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse and Valentino sweater.

Karen Walker dress, Tory Burch shoes and clutch. I swoon.

Nanette Lepore dress.

Rebecca Taylor dress, vintage sweater, Miu Miu shoes.

Debra Moreland headband and Valentino dress. Give me a call, Lemon. I'm sure we would be best (closet sharing) friends.

Bring Lemon's look to your closet with classic silhouettes that bring romantic details, soft colors, prints that tell a story. Don't forget to finish off your look with some sparkle!
