To the Nines: Pinspiration

 If you follow me on Pinterest, you may have seen this outfit before. I was instantly inspired when I saw this ensemble from Sincerely Jules, so when I saw the orange blouse I am wearing below, I knew I had to have it. I love that Jules paired her coral polka dots with boyfriend jeans and leopard print shoes. I already had boyfriend jeans in my closet and I added a mint belt to bring in another color. I have been on the hunt for the perfect leopard heels for a while, but maybe it all worked out for the best since gold flats are better for chasing after toddlers.

Outfitting for a special occasion is a time to bring out all the glitz and glamour. A milestone anniversary, a special award, or tickets to the opera, these memorable events happen only once in a lifetime and you will want to feel your best. Special occasions call for velvets, chiffons, satins, laces, and sparkles! The spotlight is on you and you should dress the part. The general guideline for special events is to not spend a small fortune on your ensemble. When you have another occasion arise, chances are you will not want to wear the same thing.
